Frequently asked questions
Why coconut apricot wax?
We’re committed to crafting high-quality candles that are clean, safe, and sustainable. After extensive research, we chose Coconut Apricot Crème Wax. A luxurious blend that checks every box. It’s clean-burning, biodegradable, vegan, renewable, and non-toxic. It’s also paraben-free, phthalate-free, gluten-free, and FDA-approved, so you can enjoy your candle worry-free in your home, office, or studio.
Why does wax type matter?
Not all waxes are created equal. Many candles use a soy-paraffin blend to cut costs, but paraffin is petroleum-based, and prolonged exposure can raise concerns about air quality. We chose to skip the shortcuts and use Coconut Apricot Wax for a cleaner, safer, and more environmentally conscious burn.
Why wooden wicks?
We love wooden wicks for more than their cozy crackle. Unlike some cotton wicks that may contain metals, our wooden wicks are lead-free, non-toxic, and eco-friendly—sourced from FSC-certified mills in the USA. They burn cleanly, evenly, and add a soft, comforting ambiance to every candle.
What are scent notes?
Each candle’s fragrance is built in layers, like a song with different instruments:
Top notes are the first scent you smell when you light the candle or sniff it unlit.
Middle notes emerge as the candle warms, forming the heart of the fragrance.
Bottom/ base notes are the richest, longest-lasting layer that appears once the candle has burned for a while and reaches a full melt pool.
The true character of a candle comes from the blend of the middle and base notes as it burns over time.
How long should I burn my candle?
For the best results, let your candle burn until the melt pool reaches the edges of the jar about 2–4 hours. This prevents tunneling and helps your candle last longer.
